The startup process is the crucial transition phase of supercritical carbon-dioxide Brayton cycle, so it essential to focus on and investigate transient performance for system’s safety stability. pressure in buffer tank approaches upper limit with different schemes during joint commissioning compressor heater a MWe-scale experiment system, while maximum temperature 309 °C. Hence, dynamic simulations are carried out explore characteristics from cold state or warm turbine pre-start condition, which 60% rated mass flow rate 67% speed reached end. results show that, when starting state, scheme simultaneously heating speeding up has limited effective application scope. Two venting operations above help system establish heat regeneration promote uniformity system. Furthermore, an existing gradient more extensive range control.
